Honey Haloumi
This is a simple dish that contains a handful of easy-to-find ingredients, is quick to prepare and tastes utterly delicious. What’s not to like?!
Serves: Serves 4 as a side/starter

INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 x 250g packet haloumi, sliced
- Egmont Honey
- 4 or 5 thin slices from ½ red onion
- Handful basil leaves
METHOD
- Heat the olive oil in a heavy-bottomed frying pan over a medium-high heat.
- Add in the slices of haloumi and fry for 3 or 4 minutes per side or until golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and arrange on a serving plate.
- Generously drizzle with Egmont honey then scatter over the red onion and the basil leaves and serve.
