Egmont Honey, Ginger & Citrus Cocktail

Vodka and limoncello marry beautifully with lemon and orange juice which all comes together with our smooth, treacly Mānuka Honey. Spring in a glass!

INGREDIENTS

- 60ml vodka

- 1 tablespoon Egmont Mānuka Honey

- Few strips orange zest

- 2 slices fresh ginger

- Cubed ice

- 30ml limoncello

- 30ml lemon juice

- 30ml orange juice

- Lemon slices to garnish

 

METHOD

1. Put the vodka and the honey into a cocktail shaker and using a spoon, mix well until the honey has dissolved into the vodka.

2. Add in the orange zest and the ginger and muddle using a pestle (from a mortar and pestle) or a wooden spoon.

3. Add ice into the cocktail shaker about 2/3 of the way full then add in the limoncello, lemon and orange juice. Put on the lid and shake well.

4. Strain out the drink, dividing between two small glasses and then garnish with a slice of lemon or a twist of orange zest.
